University of Alabama.

•  She is a military veteran and former active-duty Judge Advocate
General for the Air Force.  She understands the many needs
associated with the local military presence.

company -- Torel Technology, LLC – with her husband, Jon.  

•  Her legal background gives her practical policy-making experience,
and the State Board of Education is the place where Education policy
is determined.  

•  She has a parent’s vested interest in education with her children
currently in or soon to be in public school.  

•  She has dedicated her life to service -- to her country, her family, her
Faith, and her community.
